Ontario Latest PNP Draw-Foreign Worker Stream

On the 10th of January on, The Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) launched a new Targeted draw, inviting 405 candidates to Employment Job Opportunities Foreign Worker stream.

The Ontario Immigration Nominee Programme (OINP) is Ontario's program for economic immigration. In partnership together with Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC), the OINP is designed to serve international students, foreign workers as well as other individuals with the required abilities knowledge, experience, and qualifications to be eligible to be considered for OINP nomination.

The amount and frequency in each Expression of Interest (NOI) choice is determined by OINP's application backlog at the date. OINP draws are generally held every month - with a few exceptions. The dates of the draw will not be announced before the draw takes place.

Targeted Draw: Economic Mobility Pathways Pilot

It is the Economic Mobility Pathways Pilot (EMPP) was created to assist skilled refugees migrate to Canada via the existing economic programs. The pilot focuses on refugees who have a strong prospects of settlement, by offering them an opportunity to be a provincial nominee under the current Provincial Nominee Programmes (PNPs) like ones like the OINP.

If you've been chosen among the applicants you could be issued an invitation to apply (ITA) in the OINP. But, receiving an ITA doesn't mean you meet the requirements for any or more of the OINP streams. If you've received an ITA you can apply online if you meet the requirements for the stream mentioned within your ITA. The application must be submitted by the end of 14 calendar days after receiving an invitation to submit your application.
