Once you've lived in Hong Kong for seven years on this Visa, you can apply for the Right to abode, which is a visa that allows you to live there permanently.

● Imported Workers’ Visa Scheme: Workers who intend to reside and work in Hong Kong under the Supplementary Labour Scheme should apply for an Imported Workers Visa. Employers or businesses who struggle to recruit local staff might use this plan to import people from abroad.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

1. The candidates for the chosen post should be well-fitted and suitably qualified.

2. The wages and working conditions are competitive with the rest of the local market.

3. The employee is committed to working for the company sponsoring his Visa and has no plans to look for employment outside of that arrangement.

Initial visas for imported employees are valid for 24 months; they can renew them four weeks before they run out of time. When you have lived on this Visa for seven years, you can apply for the Right to abode.

● Training Visa: Those who want to enter Hong Kong to acquire training for skills linked to their current line of work are eligible for the Hong Kong training visa.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

1. There shouldn't be any criminal histories or security-related objections against you.

2. Your sponsoring organization needs to be a reputable one.

3. You and your sponsor must have a written agreement.

4. The length of your stay should be appropriately justified based on the training you are anticipated to get.

Under this visa's terms, you may stay for a maximum of 12 months.

● Visa under Quality Migrant Admission Scheme: Highly talented individuals who aspire to remain in Hong Kong and advance their careers are the target audience for the QMAS.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

1. You must have attained the age of 18.

2. You should be able to prove that you have the means to sustain not just yourself but also your dependents.

3. You and your dependents shouldn't have any criminal histories.

4. English or Chinese should be your native language.

If you pass the General Points Test before arriving in Hong Kong, you may stay for 24 months. You would be permitted to remain for eight years if you applied via the achievement-based points test.
